A very popular classic, this production will re-unite two of the talents that made MTC’s production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” such a conspicuous success. BRUCE SPENCE, an inspired Puck, will star as the equally inspired Servant, and this production will be directed by ROGER HODGMAN, who also directed “The Dream”.

The servant of the title has engaged himself to serve two masters in a barefaced bid to pick up two pay packets. He is not the only schemer in the field, however, one of his masters — unknown to the servant —is a woman, Beatrice, masquerading as her own brother in order to search for her lover. And just to help the fun along, his other master is the man for whom Beatrice is seeking. The evening’s hilarity takes off from there. Included in the cast will be KYLIE BELLING, CHRISTOPHER CONNELLY, PETER CUMMINS, ROBERT ESSEX, TOM GUTTERIDGE, DENIS MOORE, JOHN O’MAY, PAMELA RABE and TAYA STRATON. The designer will be TONY TRIPP.
